Ferre by Gianfranco Ferre was launched in 1984. The scent is very classy, sophisticated very complex composition of rich bouquet of white flowers like tuberose, orange blossom, lily of the valley, honeysuckle, carnation, orchid, rose, narcissus and jasmine and yet the addition of coriande,sandalwood, amber, musk and specially the animalistic civet gives it more of rich oriental note. None of the flowers are recognizable singley but bloom more like harmonious floral blend.
