Enzo Galardi, founder of Bois 1920, is grandson of the originator Guido Galardi. Guido began experimenting with fragrance formulas in 1920 and opened the Bottega Italiana Spigo in Firenze. Guido's dream ended in 1925 when his son Renato, showed no interest in continuing on the family business. At the age of 13 Enzo begain studying with the great fragrance expert Piero. In 1985 Enzo entered the fragrance industry in 1985 and by 2005 he founded Bois 1920 in honor of his grandfather and reinterpreting his original recipes.
